Malilangwe
Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve, located in southeastern Zimbabwe, is a hidden gem for safari lovers. This pristine reserve is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, diverse wildlife—including the Big Five—and exceptional conservation efforts. With limited visitor numbers, Malilangwe offers an exclusive and intimate safari experience. It’s also home to rare species like the black rhino and boasts luxurious lodges like Singita Pamushana, perched above the scenic Malilangwe Dam.
The best time to visit Malilangwe is during the dry season, from May to October, when wildlife is easiest to spot around waterholes and the weather is cool and pleasant. For birdwatchers and lush landscapes, the green season from November to April is also a beautiful time to go.
